Dimitris Dimitriou is a graduate of Economics from the University of Piraeus and a member of the BOD​Y​ OF CERTIFIED AUDITORS (SOEL) since 1998. He has worked ​many years ​as a manager in international auditing companies such as BDO, GRANT THORNTON and BAKER TILLY HELLAS​. ​As a Certified Officer, he completed the two-year postgraduate program of education and vocational training at the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (IESOL)​. After taking his "Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards", he received the International A.I.A ( Association of International Accountants) Certification in International Financial Reporting Standards (I.F.R.S). In January 2011, with ​the "Diploma in Management Accounting Costing (M.A.C)", he obtained the International A.I.A Certification in "Business Development Strategy with Budgeting Tools, Costing & Business Planning". His experience concerns regular, tax and financial audits of the financial statements, according to the accounting standards of the Greek Legislation, or according to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for listed and non-listed companies, as well as public organizations (Local Government Organizations, Funds, etc). He is a specialist in acquisitions, mergers and conversions, due diligence, evaluation and corporate tax planning. Since 2002 he has been a lecturer in financial, tax and business seminars: he taught International Auditing & Accounting Standards for many years, as well as seminars on "IFRS & Reporting'', "Offshore Companies'', "Greek Accounting Standards'', "Business Valuation'', "International Tax Planning", for companies, recognized training centers, the Chamber of Commerce and other professional bodies such as POFEE (Panhellenic Federation of Tax Professionals) and EFEEA (Attica's Federation of Tax Audit Freelancers). In 2004, he participated in the editorial team of the book "International Accounting Standards I.F.R.S" by Grant Thornton and to this day he publishes articles in financial newspapers and magazines, as an expert in the application of IFRS and IAS. It deserves noting, that during the first transition of the listed companies to the I.F.R.S, as the financial director of a listed company in the fish farming sector, named "NIREAS SA ", he carried out the conversion of both individual and consolidated financial statements of all 22 companies of the group.​ ​The same for other companies operating in Greece, such as BIOIATRIKI SA​.​ He participated as a Financial Advisor and Certified Auditor in major development and reorganization projects, such as the sale of TRAINOSE in cooperation with the HRD and the EUROPEAN CENTRAL BANK, but also in audits of large bodies such as ​the National Public Health Organization (NPHO)​ ​and the National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP)​. Through his many years of experience and specialization in the application of IAS and IFRS, he was given the opportunity to publish his first book on "Analysis & Interpretation of ELP in Accounting & Tax Base ". Today he is the founder and CEO of ​CPA ​/ ​​Certified Public Accountants, Auditors & Consultants.
